Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is hiring airport agents to deliver excellent customer service, ticketing, rebooking, boarding, and passenger assistance, with duties performed outdoors in all weather. Requirements include 18+, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, background check and drug screening, U.S.

work authorization, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Flexible schedules including split shifts; both part‑time and full‑time roles may be available.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing.
• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time and full-time positions may be available.
• $17 per hour

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
• This position requires you to work outside in all weather conditions
• Service aircraft as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Primary Job Duties

Airport agents are primarily responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and more.
