Job summary
Allegheny County Airport Authority is seeking an Airline Services Technician – Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair passenger boarding bridges, perform preventive and light maintenance, and work with multiple trades. Reporting to the Manager, Airline Services, you will follow OEM/ACAA maintenance programs, use your own tools, and comply with safety rules.
This role may require shift work in a 24/7 operation.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Journeyman mechanic or 5+ years related experience.
- Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent training.
- PA Class C driver’s license, or ability to obtain one.
- Must provide own tools and PPE.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair passenger boarding bridges.
- Perform preventive maintenance per OEM/ACAA program.
- Execute unscheduled repairs (sheet metal, structural work).
- Perform scheduled maintenance to water cabinets.
- Cut and weld steel when required.
- Maintain safety and follow PPE policy.
- Participate in job safety analyses.
- Other related duties as assigned.
