Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to inspect, modify and repair our fleet at the maintenance base. You will troubleshoot technical discrepancies, guide junior mechanics and ensure all documentation meets FAA standards.

Applicants should have an FAA A&P certificate, 5–7 years of transport-category aircraft experience (737/777 preferred), and be able to work rotating schedules including nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of transport category aircraft maintenance experience (Boeing 737/777 preferred).
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, schematics and technical orders.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot discrepancies and repair company aircraft.
• Perform aircraft inspections per procedures.
• Use electronic test equipment and navigation troubleshooting tools.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings and technical orders.
• Coordinate materials and tooling for planned work.
• Assist in maintenance with a team and interface with contract maintenance personnel.
• Ensure accurate aircraft documentation per FAA procedures.
