Job summary

Tier1usa is seeking an Airline Coordinator to perform daily quality checks for key international flights, handling in-house and field operations. You will coordinate with management, customer service, and ramp teams to ensure on-time, compliant catering for all flights.

The role requires strong English skills, safety compliance, and the ability to work a demanding 24/7 schedule. CDL is a plus; a valid driver’s license is required. Health benefits and PTO are provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily quality checks for key international flights.
• Coordinate with LSG Sky Chefs’ management, Customer Service, ramp and operations.
• Assign and dispatch drivers; reassign as necessary.
• Ensure on-time delivery and accurate production/catering for all flights.
• Maintain compliance with FDA, HACCP, SOP and other regulations.
• Work 24/7 to meet customer requirements and scheduling needs.

Role Purpose Statement

The Airline Coordinator is responsible for performance of daily quality checks for key international flights, both in-house and on the field.

Main Accountabilities

(Responsible for all aspects of catering flights to include:)

• Maintain effective communication and coordination with and between LSG Sky Chefs’ management and Customer Service personnel and airline ramp and operations personnel
• Assign and dispatch drivers. Reassign as necessary
• Stay informed of flight activity, schedule and gate changes and act accordingly
• Ensure timely and safe catering of all flights
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues and elevate to managements as needed
• Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems
• Assumes other related duties as required or assigned
• Daily use of various quality forms for AA, and report daily feedback of all AA flight checks discoveries
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, FDA, HACCP, SOP and other regulations
• Ensure on-time delivery and accurate production and/or catering of all flights
• Monitor and assist in ensuring compliance with HACCP and ramp safety SOP
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Must be able to work a 24/7 work schedule in order to ensure customer requirements and needs

• Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold environment
• Must be able to walk/stoop/bend/stand for entire work shift
• Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
• Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
• Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment (including nights, weekends, holidays subject to change)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have valid driver’s license with safe driving record; CDL a plus
• Must successfully complete on-the-job driver training program and obtain a SIDA and Customs Seal
• Must be in current position for 60 days. Good attendance record
• Must have ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure.
• Must be a team player.
• Must have a flexible schedule, we are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
