Job summary

dnata catering seeks a Cold Kitchen Assembly team member to meticulously prepare cold food items for airline passengers. You will follow recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistent quality and proper labeling, while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards.

Work closely with the culinary team to meet menu requirements, manage inventory, and support timely production and delivery of meals in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of food preparation experience.
• Must meet state/local food handler certification requirements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to entry procedures, hygiene standards and security requirements.
• Read charts and work orders to assemble or package items into trays.
• Comply with HACCP/GMP and dnata sanitation policies.
• Portion and garnish foods into serving dishes and inspect for contamination.
• Store or dispose of unused items following rotation and dating standards.
• Prepare cold items from refrigeration and position at workstations for assembly.
• Load final meal trays onto carts for transport to aircraft.
• Work consistently in cold environments (35-40°F).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
