Job summary

dnata Catering USA is seeking a Cold Kitchen Assembly team member in Houston to meticulously prepare and assemble a variety of cold food items for airline passengers. You will follow recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistency and high standards of food safety, labeling, and temperature control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of food preparation experience.
• Texas Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to entry procedures and HACCP/GMP hygiene standards.
• Read charts and work orders to determine trays and quantities.
• Comply with HACCP/GMP and dnata sanitation policies.
• Portion and garnish foods into serving dishes with quality checks.
• Store and rotate unused items per procedures and dating.
• Position salads, desserts, rolls and other cold items for assembly.
• Load completed meal trays into airline carts for transport.
• Work in cold environments at 35–40°F.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
