Job summary

DO & CO in Los Angeles seeks a hands-on Transportation Manager to lead and execute all transportation and dispatch operations across a high-volume airline catering unit. You will drive OTP, coordinate dispatch, routing, and load planning with kitchen production, ramp teams, and airline partners to ensure on-time service.

This role requires a proven track record in transportation or aviation operations, CDL/DOT compliance, and strong leadership across shift work, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field preferred.
• 5+ years leadership in transportation or aviation operations.
• Experience managing dispatch operations and frontline teams.
• Experience in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
• Experience with CDL and DOT regulations and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transportation and dispatch operations across the LA unit.
• Drive on-time performance and meet airline service level agreements.
• Oversee dispatch planning, routing, and load coordination.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including kitchen production, ramp teams, and airline partners.
• Provide hands-on leadership on the floor and ramp, including nights and weekends.
• Ensure compliance with TSA/SIDA, DOT, OSHA, and other regulations.],
