DHL Global Forwarding in Houston, Texas is seeking an Airfreight Spot Desk Pricing Analyst to analyze and recommend pricing for DHL products and services by conducting market and competitor analysis, profitability modeling, and revenue simulations.

Key duties include executing adhoc/spot pricing, driving competitive pricing, evaluating risks during the quote process, and escalating decisions through the hierarchy when needed, all while adhering to pricing standards and coordinating with Sales.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline and/or 1–3 years in related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Must be self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Executes adhoc / spot pricing.
• Drives competitive pricing.
• Searches for best pricing solutions to maximize profitability of AFR.
• Evaluates risks during solution design and spot quote process.
• Escalates as needed for decision making on risk taking through higher hierarchy levels.
• Adheres to pricing standards and instructions from management.
• Interacts with customers in alignment with Sales.
