Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics SE & Co. KG is seeking an Airfreight Manager to lead the air product team across the assigned territory. The role focuses on product compliance, working capital targets, and revenue growth while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include staff leadership, pricing authority, and collaboration with Sales to strengthen market share. The ideal candidate has extensive airfreight and supervisory experience and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Logistics and Supply Chain, Transportation) or equivalent combination.
• 5-7 years minimum airfreight experience.
• 3-5 years minimum supervisory experience.
• Completion of any industry related course is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages air product staff within assigned territory; ensures staff development and CSOP adherence.
• Ensures air product operations comply with internal HWL policies and regulations.
• Manages working capital targets (DPO/DSO) within territory.
• Provides accurate costing, revenue estimates, and invoicing to minimize WIP and DS0.
• Leads product pricing decisions (tariffs/spot rates) for territory and customers.
• Drives volume and revenue growth while maintaining service and quality standards.
• Maintains product quality controls and conducts regular audits; implements corrective actions as needed.
• Trains Sales on market opportunities and product analytics to improve profitability.
