Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, Inc. seeks a Healthcare Airfreight Director for the US to drive the strategic direction of healthcare airfreight.

You will lead growth, coordinate with Sales and Product teams, and shape the portfolio across the United States. The role requires extensive airfreight expertise in healthcare/pharma, strong supplier relationships, and leadership experience to guide cross-functional teams and ensure GDP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics and Supply Chain, Transportation, or equivalent work experience.
• 7-10 years minimum airfreight experience, healthcare/pharma supply chain experience preferred.
• 5 years minimum supervisory experience.
• Completion of any industry related course is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Execute the global healthcare airfreight strategy to drive profitable growth in the US.
• Establish and strengthen vendor relationships with airlines, packaging providers and transport companies.
• Provide support to internal stakeholders through meetings with customers.
• Focus on airfreight healthcare solutions and quality, collecting information and delivering value-added solutions.
• Ensure GDP compliant policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
• Direct and manage processes like SOPs, GDP standards, Route Risk Assessments, CAPA; drive KPI reporting.
