Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks an Airframe Design for Survivability - NG Fellow 1 to lead advanced survivability work on multiple programs. This onsite role requires vision, leadership, and deep experience in materials modeling, signature characterization, and aircraft design processes.

You will guide edge technology roadmaps, mentor engineers, participate in independent reviews, and collaborate with government customers to shape future programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in a STEM field with extensive experience.
• Significant airframe survivability design experience including materials modeling.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead survivability analysis, development, design and demonstration/test assignments for advanced technologies.
• Develop and maintain NGAS Survivability Airframe vision; roadmap for edge technologies.
• Participate in independent review teams and mentor the next generation of engineers.
