Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. seeks an Engineering Supervisor for the Airframe Liaison Engineering team in Adelanto, CA. You will lead a small group, guide change processes for composite parts, and interface with multiple engineering functions to resolve complex problems.

The role requires advanced engineering education and strong leadership, with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance and to operate in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with progressive experience.
• Experience in mechanical/aerospace engineering and manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of 4-5 liaison engineers and design assurance specialists.
• Manages change requests and change notifications for composites.
• Briefs CR/CN in front of Change Control Board stakeholders.
• Provides MRB support for nonconforming parts and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborates with multiple engineering groups to resolve issues.
