Job summary

StandardAero Houston (IAH) is seeking a Corporate A&P Mechanic II to support maintenance and inspections of mid-sized corporate aircraft. You will perform detailed airframe maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Learjet, Embraer, Challenger, Gulfstream, and Falcon platforms.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of A&P experience, is licensed, and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of A&P experience performing heavy maintenance on turbofan corporate aircraft.
• Experience performing heavy maintenance (C&D checks) on Gulfstream, Challenger, Falcon, Hawker, Learjet, and/or Embraer aircraft.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on business jet airframes and systems.
• Remove and reinstall turbofan and turboprop engines for inspection and maintenance.
• Conduct operational checks, engine runs, and leak checks to verify serviceability.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, landing gear, flight control, and other airframe systems.
• Evaluate removed components for serviceability; document and resolve discrepancies.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical data.
• Document all work performed clearly, accurately, and in compliance with StandardAero procedures.
