Job summary

StandardAero in Houston is seeking an A&P Mechanic III to support mid-sized corporate aircraft maintenance. This role involves various tasks such as detailed airframe maintenance, inspections, as well as troubleshooting and repairs across multiple aircraft types like Learjet and Gulfstream.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position and a valid FAA A&P License. Benefits include a sign-on bonus, comprehensive medical coverage, and a 401(k) plan with immediate vesting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience performing heavy maintenance on turbofan engine corporate aircraft as an A&P Mechanic.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on business jet airframes and systems.
• Conduct engine runs and operational checks to verify serviceability.
• Document all work performed clearly and accurately.

Skills

Heavy maintenance experience on turbofan engine corporate aircraft

Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals

Strong troubleshooting skills

Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
