Job summary

StandardAero in Springfield, IL is hiring a Licensed A&P Mechanic II to perform routine maintenance and major inspections on corporate aircraft. You will work across airframe teams, troubleshoot, repair, and modify components, including engine removal, reinstallation, checks, and engine runs.

The role requires an FAA A&P license and at least two years of aviation experience on Hawker, Falcon, Bombardier, or Gulfstream.

Qualifications

• Must have FAA A&P license and at least 2 years aviation experience.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds during shifts.
• Ability to prioritize and plan maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect engine modules and components.
• Disassemble and reassemble engine parts.
• Perform engine removals and installations.
• Follow safety, FAA and company regulations.
• Document measurements and keep accurate records.
