Job summary
TYLin is seeking an Airfield Senior Civil Engineer to lead planning, design and delivery of complex airport projects in the Aviation practice. You will serve as the airfield discipline lead, coordinating with planners, architects, structural and environmental teams to ensure constructible, safe, and sustainable solutions.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, a Professional Engineer license, 12+ years in airport/aviation projects, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
- Professional Engineer license required; ability to obtain licensure in other states.
- 12+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with airport/aviation focus.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, and delivery of complex airfield and airport civil engineering projects from concept through construction.
- Serve as airfield civil discipline lead on multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with planners, architects, structural, environmental, electrical, surveyors and construction professionals.
- Develop airfield geometrics, alignments, grading, drainage, pavement systems, utilities, and aircraft parking layouts.
