Horry County Department of Airport’s system is seeking a supervisor to assist with daily operation of four airports, managing airside and landside activities and incident response. The role includes gate scheduling, documentation, and coordination with tenants and contractors.

Ideal candidates have aviation operations experience, a background in FAR Part 139, and the ability to lead staff, work weekends, and ensure regulatory compliance with FAA and TSA standards.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Aviation Management or Business Management or related field.
• Airport Certified Employee (ACE) Operations Certificate desirable; however ACE certification is required within twenty four months of date of hire.
• Experience in a commercial/civil or military aviation operations environment is desired along with FAR Part 139 experience.
• Candidate must pass a background check and meet pre-employment drug screening requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily operation of four airports within the Horry County Department of Airport’s system.
• Airside and landside incident response and ground transportation management.
• Monitor airfield and ramp operations; conduct daily inspections of facilities.
• Gate scheduling of aircraft; prepare necessary documentation; update manuals and programs.
• Interact with airport tenants, passengers, contractors and consultants; resolve complaints and issues.
• Assist with TSA and FAA liaison duties and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate airfield construction projects to meet safety and operational requirements.
• Provide support to the Airport Communications Center (ACC) and assist with escort duties as needed.
