Job summary

PANAMA CITY-BAY COUNTY AIRPORT AND INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT / NORTHWEST FLORIDA BEACHES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT seeks an Airport Operations Officer 2 to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure FAA Part 139 and TSA Part 1542 compliance, and coordinate security, terminal, landside, and airside activities.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Airport Operations Manager, you will manage projects, analyze data, and provide customer service to tenants, passengers, and staff.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in aviation management, airport management, business administration, public administration, or similar area.
• Two years of increasingly responsible experience; education may be substituted with aviation-related certifications.
• Must possess a valid Florida driver's license; pilot’s license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day airport operations to ensure regulatory compliance and efficiency.
• Leads airside and landside programs and coordinates customer service for the terminal facilities.
• Supports administrative functions and provides phone and walk-in customer service.

Education

Four-year degree in aviation management or related field

Two years of increasingly responsible experience

Florida driver’s license with driving privileges
