Job summary

Winter Haven Regional Airport is seeking an Airport Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage the city-owned FBO, and ensure safety and efficiency of runways, taxiways, and ramps. You will supervise technicians, implement safety and training programs, and coordinate with emergency services.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 3 years of aviation operations experience, and preferred flight experience with a pilot’s license.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Three years of aviation/airport operations experience required.
Flight experience and possession of a pilot's license is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day airport operations and oversee maintenance of runways, taxiways, and ramps.
Develop and implement safety procedures and staff training programs.
Coordinate emergency preparedness with local, state, and federal agencies.
Assist with budget development, grants, and capital projects.
Respond to public questions and manage service requests.
