Job summary

Kenton County Airport Board is seeking an Inspector to oversee airfield and facility construction inspections at CVG. You will verify compliance with plans, review RFIs, and track drawings while coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

The role requires knowledge of construction management, safety regulations, and FAA requirements, with duties including reporting, documentation, and utility coordination during non-peak hours. On-site at CVG, with occasional night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting construction plans and specs.
• Strong written and verbal communication for updates with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project tracking and document management tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and sites for construction projects and update stakeholders.
• Inspect and monitor construction activities for compliance with plans and regulations.
• Report policy and safety violations and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain logs, as-built drawings, and progress reports.
• Prepare daily project reports and coordinate outages or access.
• Collaborate with contractors and other agencies to ensure project quality.
