Job summary

CVG Airport Authority is seeking a Construction Inspector to oversee airfield and facility projects, conduct routine inspections, and coordinate closures under leadership guidance. This role develops inspection techniques, prepares FAA and CVG reports, reviews plans, and tracks as-built drawings, with night shifts possible to meet deadlines.

Applicants should have degrees in civil engineering tech or related field and possess OSHA 10, SIDA clearance, and NIMS training; strong communication

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
Equivalent education/experience considered.
Licenses: SIDA clearance, valid driver's license, OSHA 10 within 6 months, NIMS & emergency training, ASOS certificate.

Responsibilities

Reviews plans and specifications; updates stakeholders on project status.
Inspects and monitors construction activities for compliance with plans and regulations.
Maintains logs, as-builts, and construction progress reports.
