Qualifications

• Must read and interpret airfield plans and specifications.
• Experience with airport or roadway construction inspections (3+ years).
• Familiarity with DOT and FAA construction methods and standards is desirable.
• Ability to read basic geometric calculations (areas, distances).
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; Procore or CMS experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safety construction practices and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Conducts construction inspections according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensures compliance with project plans, specifications, and local codes.
• Monitors and documents construction activities.
• Prepares field investigation and construction inspection reports.
• Reviews quality control and assurance tests for contractor compliance.
• Manages field measurements and quantity reports for payments and changes.
• Maintains inspector daily reports and progress status.
• Records deviations from contract documents and reports.
• Supports safety and efficient project operations, including variable shifts.
