Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 4 years technical experience including 2 years on aircrew equipment and egress systems.
• Must have completed aircrew life support or flight equipment training or parachute/ejection course.
• FAA license: obtainable FAA Airframe license or senior parachute rigger within 1 year.
• Communicate with Operations engineers and other technically qualified personnel.
• Able to perform physical labor including lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and certify aircrew egress systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, modify, and repair life support equipment.
• Install and remove life support gear; perform reliability testing.
• Track and update inspection records and supply levels.
• Operate shop machinery and handle hazardous waste per environmental standards.
• Use NAMIS to document maintenance actions.
• Lessor or ancillary duties as assigned.
