Yulista Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced technician to maintain, service, and certify aircrew egress systems for NASA aircraft, with secondary responsibilities for life‑support equipment. The role emphasizes NAMIS documentation, safety compliance, and reliable equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities include inspection, testing with aviation gear, and updating records, while ensuring strict adherence to environmental and QA standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 4 years technical experience with 2 years in engineering technician duties related to aircrew equipment.
  • Must have completed basic aircrew life support or related training; or ejection systems specialist course.
  • Must be able to obtain FAA Airframe license or senior parachute rigger license within 1 year.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, modify and adjust life sustaining aircrew equipment.
  • Inspect anti-G garments, explosives, ejection seats, canopies, hatches, oxygen systems and full pressure suits.
  • Repair flotation equipment, escape slides and parachutes.
  • Evaluate repair feasibility and work orders for fabrication/repair.
  • Install and remove aircraft life support equipment.
  • Use test equipment to conduct reliability testing on equipment.
  • Track and update equipment inspection records and NAMIS data.
  • Forecast supply and manage stock levels for replacements.
  • Maintain inspection and accountability documentation for aircrew equipment.
  • Operate and maintain shop machinery and tools.
  • Store, handle and dispose of hazardous waste per standards.
