Job summary

Yulista Solutions LLC seeks a General Aircraft Mechanic to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on NASA aircraft, simulators, and UAS. You will use NAMIS to document repairs and maintain equipment records while adhering to safety and FAA standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and an FAA A&P certification (or obtain within 12 months), plus experience with aircraft mechanical systems and GSE.

Qualifications

• Ability to enter data accurately into databases.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.
• Must be able to communicate issues clearly to management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment records using NAMIS and document actions for repairs.
• Perform maintenance on aircraft, including mechanical systems and GSE.
• Disassemble, repair, clean, corrosion-treatment, reassemble and reinstall components.
• Follow safety rules and report accidents or unsafe practices to supervisor.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections and repairs as required.
