Job summary

Yulista Solutions LLC is seeking a General Aircraft Mechanic to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on NASA fleet aircraft, simulators, and UAS. You will use NAMIS to document actions, follow EWOs, and ensure safety and QA compliance in a high-demand environment.

The role requires two years of fixed-wing maintenance experience, FAA A&P certification (or within 1 year), NASA physical clearance, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires two years aircraft maintenance experience with fixed wing or DOD aircraft.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Must pass NASA administered physical.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Use NAMIS to maintain equipment records and document maintenance actions.
• Perform maintenance on aircraft and ground support equipment (GSE).
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble aircraft components as required.
• Follow Engineering Work Orders (EWOs) and complete instructions accurately and timely.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and FOD prevention per policy; document maintenance per QA and regulatory standards.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Conduct aircraft ground support duties including towing, marshalling, and jacking.
• Maintain compliance and communicate any safety issues to supervision.
