Job summary

You will work with principal engineers to analyze systems, create substantiation plans, and produce technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or related technical field with 3+ years in aviation.
• Experience across aircraft structures, systems, or powerplant relevant to certification and maintenance.
• Proven ability to work across functions and write project proposals.
• Reliability analysis skills to identify root causes of systems problems.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Python, Excel, SQL).
• Familiarity with FARs governing aircraft certification and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with predictive digital technology teams to develop diagnostics and monitoring strategies.
• Review service bulletins and OEM docs to determine courses of action.
• Enter EA data into maintenance tracking programs.
• Assist with identification of Airworthiness Directive compliance intervals.
• Find opportunities to improve airline profitability and aircraft reliability.
• Create and review technical documentation for aircraft systems and structures.
• Perform engineering calculations to ensure safety, performance and efficiency.
• Design, develop, and test solutions for aircraft systems.
