Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet in Reno, NV is seeking an experienced Aircraft Structural Repair Technician to fabricate and install metal components on aircraft structures according to blueprints and FARs. The role involves sheet metal work, forming blocks, and operating heavy machine tools in a regulatory environment.

The candidate should have five years of structural repair experience, be able to read blueprints or sketches, and possess the necessary tools listed by the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional courses in structural repair and alteration work.
• Five years of structural repair experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints or sketches.
• Must have the required tools (See approved minimum list).

Responsibilities

• Perform structural repairs/alterations per FARs, drawings and DFJ-WC schedule.
• Manufacture form and molding blocks; fabricate sheet metal parts with flanges.
• Lay out and form doublers, stringers, angles, channels and hat sections.
• Operate heavy tools and machine equipment safely and accurately.
• Complete tasks on schedule; maintain clean, safe work area.
