Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of aircraft manufacturing experience with sheet metal coursework or three years substitute experience.
• Able to read drawings, sketches, pictures, or verbal specifications.
• Able to use calibrated tools and measuring devices.
• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Able to work from heights up to 25 feet.

Aufgaben

• Read blueprints, sketches, diagrams, CATIA models, or verbal instructions.
• Perform calculations for angles, circumference, diameter, and bend allowances using shop math.
• Fabricate and install assemblies and sub-assemblies; modify as needed.
• Check fabricated items and systems installed for proper operation.
• Utilize aircraft tooling for precision sheet metal operations and installations.
• Install interior shell panels and complete various interior operations.
• Set up and operate standard shop equipment; propose improvements.
