Job summary

Boeing Aerospace Operations in Jacksonville, FL is seeking Product Repair/Modification Technicians – Structures at Associate level. You will join a team supporting F/A-18 and other military/derivative programs, performing repairs and modifications to structural components, reading blueprints, and maintaining detailed records.

This role requires 3+ years in aircraft structures, ability to drill with tight tolerances, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

3+ years of Aircraft Structures Mechanic experience.
3+ years of reading engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics and specifications.
Ability to close tolerance drill within .003 and precision measure within .003.
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

Ability to properly utilize Assembly Jigs, Repair Equipment, and tooling to locate parts and meet Blueprint requirements.
Identify fastener types (rivets, bolts, screws) and select appropriate tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, process data sheets, and work orders.
Close tolerance drilling and precise measurement in metallic/composite structures.
Fabricate, locate, trim, drill/ream, and assemble components per specifications.
Install rivets and fasteners in metallic and composite structures.
Perform structural repairs/modifications on aircraft components.
