Boeing's MRO Jacksonville facility is seeking Aviation Maintenance Technicians for a contract assignment focused on repairing and modifying P8 and related aircraft structures. You will work under Boeing-approved third-party employment for the project duration.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as an Aircraft Mechanic, experience reading engineering drawings, and a proven ability to perform precision drilling and measurement within tight tolerances.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years Aircraft Mechanic experience in commercial or defense sectors.
• 3+ years reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics and specifications.
• Close tolerance drilling within .003 and precision measurement within .003.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Aufgaben

• Repair and overhaul structures for P8 aircraft.
• Read blueprints, process data sheets, and maintenance manuals.
• Interpret maintenance directives and service bulletins.
• Demonstrate close tolerance drilling and precision measuring.
• Safety wire and install cotter pins.
• Apply aircraft finishes (primer/paint), Alodine, and sealants.
• Identify fastener types and use correct cutting tools.
• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation on time.
