Qualifications

• 3+ years in aircraft composite repair
• 3+ years troubleshooting and repairing composite components
• 3+ years in structural modifications and repair
• 3+ years using aircraft tools such as test equipment and precision instruments
• 3+ years reading blueprints, drawings and engineering docs
• 3+ years prioritizing workloads to meet schedules

Responsibilities

• Bond metallic or nonmetallic materials for fabrication and repair
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals and specs
• Plan layouts and assemble adhesive bonded assemblies
• Build and pre-fit composites and metal parts for bonding and curing
• Perform vacuum bagging and process documentation
• Select tooling and materials per work instructions
• Complete all required paperwork and safety procedures
• Interface with management and other departments
