Job summary
Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II to perform moderate-to-complex structural maintenance on military aircraft at Mountain Home AFB, ID. The role focuses on airframe structures and sheet metal, with lead responsibilities and inspection authority over junior technicians.
Candidates must have DoD Secret clearance eligibility and a strong background in mechanical maintenance, sheet metal repair, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- DoD Secret clearance required to access the airfield.
- Combined experience in mechanical maintenance, sheet metal repair, and complex aircraft troubleshooting.
- Experience with technical publications, blueprints, and aircraft logs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and modify complex aircraft structures and sheet metal.
- Diagnose malfunctions in airframe, powerplant, and systems.
- Contribute data for MEC and ECOD reports; support MWO changes.
- Prioritize workloads; lead maintenance teams; inspect work of peers.
- Interpret blueprints and manuals to solve issues.
- Operate precision tools and test equipment safely.
- Ensure modifications meet aviation safety and standards.
