The role emphasizes troubleshooting airframe and powerplant systems with a focus on sheet metal and structures, while prioritizing workloads, leading teams, and exercising inspection authority over junior technicians. DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Security Clearance required or obtainable.
• Combined experience in general mechanical maintenance and structural sheet metal repair.
• Ability to read and apply blueprints, manuals, and aircraft logs.
• Experience guiding junior technicians and leading maintenance tasks.
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory or avionics valued for cross-functional support.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, repair, and modify complex aircraft structures, sheet metal configurations, and structural components of moderate difficulty.
• Diagnose malfunctions and restore airframe and powerplant systems.
• Contribute data for MEC and ECOD reports and assist in MWOs.
• Prioritize workloads, lead teams, and inspect work performed by junior technicians.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and manuals to solve technical issues.
• Operate specialized tools and test equipment safely and accurately.
• Ensure modifications comply with aviation safety regulations and standards.
