Aerotek in Monument, CO is seeking an experienced Aircraft Structural Technician to perform heavy structural modifications and repairs on military aircraft, primarily C-130 and P-3 platforms, in a climate-controlled hangar supporting classified defense programs.

This contract-to-hire role features four 10-hour shifts, onsite work in Monument, and a pay rate of $43 per hour, with overtime opportunities and potential for career advancement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years civilian aircraft structures experience or 6+ years military structures experience.
• Strong sheet metal repair and fabrication skills.
• Experience with heavy maintenance, depot-level maintenance, or aircraft modification programs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Proficient with riveting, structural repairs, and aircraft assembly/disassembly.
• Must provide personal tools and pass a basic sheet metal assessment.
• Eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• Flexible to work 1st or 2nd shift.

Aircraft Structural Technician - Colorado Springs, CO

Job Summary

Seeking experienced Aircraft Structural Technicians to perform heavy structural modifications and repairs on military aircraft, primarily C-130 and P-3 platforms. Work in a climate-controlled, FAA-regulated hangar supporting classified defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural modifications, repairs, and installations on military aircraft.

• Fabricate, fit, drill, cut, and install sheet metal components including skins, frames, stringers, and doublers.

• Complete riveting and de-riveting tasks using standard aircraft structural tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on C-130, P-3, or other fixed-wing military aircraft.

• Prior depot-level maintenance experience.

Schedule & Environment

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri).

• Climate-controlled military aircraft hangar.

• Overtime opportunities available based on workload.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $43.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
