Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a General Dynamics subsidiary, is seeking an experienced Structural Mech II to perform precise assembly and riveting on aircraft structures. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and relevant experience, with proficiency in blueprints and basic shop math.

We value meticulous workmanship, the ability to work with limited supervision, and adherence to safety standards. Travel up to 25% may be required; first shift; full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years related structural assembly experience.
• Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures and varied drilling and riveting operations; ensures parts/assembly meet requirements.
• Rivet structural assemblies and parts using all tools required.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations and hole patterns.
