Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah is seeking a Structural Mechanic II to perform structural assembly tasks in a production environment. You will rivet and fit detail parts, read blueprints, and follow procedures to ensure conformance with design specifications and quality standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years related experience, and proficiency with blueprints and shop math. Solumina and Smarteam experience is preferred; shift is First. Posting ends 11/11/2026.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years related structural assembly experience.
• Experience with Solumina and Smarteam is preferred.
• Must be able to read blueprints and interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures; rivet structural assemblies.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations.
• Align and assemble parts to be riveted using jigs and fixtures; follow written procedures for adhesives, sealants and solvents.
• Make repairs per discrepant material tags and maintain logs/records.
• Maintain a neat work area and comply with safety regulations.
