Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II (Structural) to support high-priority USAF operations and secure transport for top officials. You will inspect, repair, and refurbish aircraft structures, and apply coatings and corrosion control techniques on airframes and equipment.

The role requires English proficiency and the ability to travel for TDYs as needed. Applicants must hold an FAA Airframe license, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to obtain a US security clearance.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of aircraft structural repair procedures.
• Must read, write and understand English.
• FAA Airframe license required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (US citizenship required).

Responsabilidades

• Inspects, evaluates damage and repairs on aircraft and support equipment.
• Operates ground support equipment and uses tools to return aircraft to operation.
• Performs corrosion inspections and applies protective coatings.
• Uses blueprints and maintenance data to repair structures and components.
• Coordinates maintenance with supervisors and records discrepancies in MIS.
