Job summary

APS is seeking a skilled propeller assembler/repair technician in Lake Zurich, IL. You will dismantle, repair, and assemble propeller assemblies and sub-assemblies, including hubs and fiberglass components, following OEM and FAA specifications.

The role requires 1+ year in propeller assembly/repair and a high school diploma. Expect to work with power tools, perform inspections, and contribute to a safe, quality-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience: 1+ year in aircraft propeller assembly and repair.
• Knowledge of propellers and related sub-assemblies; ability to read OEM manuals and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble propeller assemblies, hubs, and sub-assemblies.
• Review work orders and collect parts for repair.
• Inspect blades and components for damage and wear.
• Prepare composite materials and apply to blades.
• Maintain safety practices and a clean work environment.
