Job summary

Hartzell Propeller seeks a Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Ohio. The ideal candidate will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC machinery, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while supporting safe and efficient operations.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 3-5 years of experience, overtime availability, and the ability to read schematics. We offer competitive benefits, a strong aviation culture, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of basic CNC machine maintenance.
• Ability to read CNC electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• General knowledge of machine controls, Mazatrol, Fanuc and Siemens.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform coolant, filter and oil changes on equipment.
• Develop placards for preventative maintenance.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.
• Read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to identify faults.
• Repair equipment by replacing defective parts.
• Run conduit and circuit wiring.
• Repair and maintain buildings and grounds.
• Operate tow motor and scissor lift.
• Move equipment and re-install electrical, air and network connections.
• Perform plumbing tasks such as running pipes and fixing leaks.
