Collins Aerospace in Haltom City, TX is seeking a Mechanical Repair Technician I for a 100% onsite role. You will conduct receiving inspection, disassembly, painting, final assembly of aircraft components, and participate in FAA/compliant maintenance procedures in a repair and overhaul shop environment.

The position requires a HS diploma and ability to read and interpret technical manuals. Preference is given to candidates with prior mechanical repair experience in aerospace or similar

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read and interpret technical documents/Component Maintenance Manual.
• Preference for candidates with mechanical repair experience in related industries and with ability to interpret manuals and other technical documents.

Responsabilités

• Receive inspection of incoming assemblies/components.
• Disassemble, wash, blast, paint, build-up, pressure test and assemble aircraft components per specs.
• Perform painting and finishing tasks, including primer/paint mixing and application.
• Maintain orderly work area and comply with FAA and customer data requirements.
• Work in a repair and overhaul shop environment and adhere to safety policies.
