Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is hiring an Entry-Level Mechanical Repair Technician in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will perform complete operation checkouts, modifications, and repairs on components to ensure safe, reliable flight capabilities.

The role emphasizes hands-on use of hand tools, basic measurement equipment, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Training is provided for development in aerospace maintenance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (US) required.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and overhaul manuals.

Responsabilités

• Work onsite at Santa Fe Springs, CA location.
• Maintain standard work hours with overtime potential.
• Inspect incoming assemblies and components per procedures.
• Set up repair and test facilities to support operations.
• Test and calibrate parts to meet specifications and tolerances.
• Repair units failing test or tolerance levels.
• Assemble fabricated parts and components on the shop floor.
• Use hand and power tools for assembly and repair.
• Ensure quick cycle-time repairs while upholding quality processes.
