Collins Aerospace is seeking an Aircraft Repair Mechanic for our Chula Vista, CA location. This onsite role performs disassembly, cleaning, testing, repair, and assembly of FAA-controlled flight hardware, plus layout and build of engine mounts, harnesses, and wire assemblies.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with hand and power tools; A&P license preferred. Excellent pay and benefits are offered in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in FAA/DCMA regulated shop environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, CMMs and wiring diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical rework and assembly procedures using hand and power tools.

• Disassembly, cleaning, testing, repair, and assembly of FAA flight hardware.
• Layout and build mechanical assemblies such as engine mounts, ducts, tubes and hoses.
• Layout and build wire harness and cable assemblies.
