Job summary

Amentum in California is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair assigned KC-46 aircraft in accordance with FAA directives and company procedures. You will perform preflight, post-flight, and routine through-flight inspections, ground handling, and servicing, while maintaining accurate maintenance documentation and supporting tool control.

Must have a US driver’s license and be eligible for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Eight years working knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations.
• FAA A&P certification preferred.
• Must read and interpret maintenance manuals and diagrams.
• Current state driver's license required.
• Must obtain and maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all directives identified by Site Management or the PWS.
• Perform launch, recovery, inspections and maintenance on the aircraft.
• Troubleshoot and maintain aircraft structures, systems, and components.
• Provide on-the-job training and sign off training records.
• Operate vehicles on the flightline and manage tool control.
• Complete maintenance documentation in information systems.
