Job summary

Amentum is seeking an aircraft maintenance technician in Lancaster, CA to inspect, service and troubleshoot aircraft in a high-tempo environment. You will perform launch, recovery, scheduled and unscheduled inspections while adhering to Technical Orders and SOPs.

The role requires a minimum four years in heavy aircraft maintenance, FAA A&P certification, and the ability to read manuals, wiring diagrams and data tables. A valid driver’s license and Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certification or equivalent is required.
• Minimum four years of heavy aircraft maintenance or flightline ops.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance and troubleshooting on assigned aircraft.
• Follow Technical Orders, GOPs/SOPs and company directives.
• Conduct preflight, post-flight, through-flight and phase inspections.
• Operate and service ground support equipment and document maintenance actions.
• Order parts through Air Force supply and maintain accurate records.
