Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Worker to perform repairs and maintenance on aircraft following orders from higher-grade technicians. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, component replacement, and maintaining accurate maintenance records at a busy line station.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least three years related experience, with an A&P license counting towards experience. Willingness to travel and obtain facility credentials is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Three years' recent related experience in aircraft field preferred; A&P license counts as three years' experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization; US Citizenship may be required.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to aircraft following orders; assist in troubleshooting malfunctions in aircraft structure, systems and components.
• Supervise aircraft jacking and towing as needed.
• Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections and document in maintenance records.
• Replace defective parts and components and obtain standard parts per manuals and samples.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements; adhere to company policies and customer contracts.
