Job summary

Kay & Associates, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I in Oceanside, CA to perform a broad range of maintenance and repair tasks on H-1 family aircraft.

The role involves troubleshooting structures, engines, hydraulics, pneudraulics, and electrical systems, reading manuals and data, and ensuring safe, airworthy condition. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with hand and power tools are essential.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnosis, disassembly, inspection and repairs of aircraft structures and assemblies.
• Reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and engineering data to determine repair methods.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions in engines, electrical, hydraulics, and flight control systems.
• Replaces or repairs components; performs rigging, testing and calibration as required.
• Maintains aircraft records and documents work performed; may supervise jacking and towing operations.
