Job summary

Amentum is recruiting a rotary-wing aircraft mechanic to support high-security operations in Maryland. You will perform routine and complex maintenance on H-60/S-70 platforms, inspect aircraft, and assist aircrews for flight readiness.

The role requires FAA A&P or military training, security clearance eligibility, and the ability to work varied shifts and lift up to 50 pounds. MD-based, on-site position with company benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have FAA A&P certification or military maintenance training.
• Recent experience on H-60 or S-70 aircraft preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and technical publications.

Responsibilities

• Support HQ USAF operational plans and air transport for dignitaries.
• Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and repairs on aircraft.
• Conduct inspections: preflight, thru-flight, post-flight, phase.
• Assist aircrew in flight preparations and launch/recovery.
• Annotate maintenance records and MIS entries.
• Operate ground support equipment and drive on flightline.
