Qualifications

• Minimum three years in aircraft industry supply chain operations
• Minimum two years in a leadership/management position
• Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory practices
• Proficient with MS Office applications
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Routinely communicates with Line Program Managers, Line Supervisors and Customers to provide latest status on parts needed for aircraft currently undergoing maintenance and to plan for upcoming projects
• Ensures all parts and assets are scanned, received, maintained, issued, and shipped within material processing systems
• Attends daily meetings to ensure customer material expectations and provide responsive status
• Interfaces with customer to understand asset management, ERP training, and reporting requirements
• Manages inventory stock including replenishment, reorder points, and cycle counts
• Coordinates with Planning department for upcoming projects, tooling, and purchasing requirements
• Attends project status meetings and reviews with customer representatives
• Manages distribution center functions to process material requests and expedite to projects
• Provides customer service to internal and external customers and maintains partner relationships
• Monitors shelves and locker inventory to ensure proper disposition of leftovers
• Initiates and participates in personnel actions (interviews, hires, promotions)
• Organizes ongoing process improvement activities to maximize efficiency
• Ensures employees perform duties safely and productively
• Performs other duties as assigned
