Job summary

TransMedics is seeking a qualified aircraft mechanic to ensure the safe operation of our Embraer Phenom 300 fleet. The role combines technician and RII inspector duties, with paired group work to verify workmanship and safety.

You will perform scheduled inspections, troubleshoot systems, and complete service bulletins in compliance with FAA regulations. Candidates should have tools and be willing to travel as needed to support AOG aircraft.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license is required.
• 3+ years' experience as a mechanic on corporate aircraft.
• Experience troubleshooting corporate aircraft.
• Able to work in paired groups and in inspector/technician roles.
• Must have own set of tools used for aircraft support.
• Flexibility to travel to different locations to address AOG aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections, routine maintenance checks, and other time requirements.
• Troubleshoot airframe and engine systems to diagnose root causes and rectify discrepancies.
• Complete airframe and engine service bulletins.
• Complete tasks within posted flat rate times.
• Perform repairs, inspections, and maintenance per manufacturers' instructions and FAA regulations.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to ensure safe operation of aircraft.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance operations.
• Support safety and reliability of the TMDX fleet through precise and reliable repairs.
